The Ancient Silk Road tour package is a 18 day tour of China. The Silk Road was the most important connection between the East and West in ancient time. It started in early period of Han Dynasty (206 BC -220 AD). It was the last great era during the time of the Mongol Empire - Yuan Dynasty (1279 AD -1368 AD). This ancient trade route starts in the old capitals of Luoyang and Xi'an (formerly called Chang'an). It reaches the Yellow River at Lanzhou, skirts westward along deserts and mountains before dividing into three routes at the oasis of Dunhuang and Xinjiang. Ancient travelers left behind many historical records and invaluable relics which we are going to discover.
